Interacting with artifacts in real and virtual space
This project involves the testing, by means of tacking, of how combinations of real and virtual models can be utilized in the different stages of the design process to collect and synchronize information, thus streamlining the process. The combination of real and virtual models is an example of what is usually referred to as “mixed reality”, which can be used by both professionals and laypersons in the construction process. Case studies of different levels of detail are being carried out – from the design of details in work settings and housing to the planning of urban environments.
