Hajnalka Bodnar

Hajnalka Bodnar holds an M. Sc. in Foreign Trade Economics and an M.B.A. degree from the  Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary.  She worked several years at various Hungarian universities where her main role was to develop and organize M.B.A. programs. She worked together with several foreign universities, like Purdue University (US), Tilburg University (NL), and Webster University (US/Austria).  Her last position in Hungary was at the Educational Center of the Hungarian Railways, which was at that time the largest educational center in Hungary. She led the Program Development Unit where she developed and run several master and company tailored programs, co-organized with different Hungarian universities and colleges.  

In 2007 she started a Ph.D. program at Szent Istvan University on the field of Knowledge Management however she left the program unfinished because she decided to move to Sweden in 2010 because of family reasons. In order to adapt to the new circumstances she focused on learning the language and the culture as soon as possible.

In 2011 she got an opportunity at the Department of Design Sciences of Lund University. Now she is working as a Research Coordinator at several divisions. Her main duty is to provide support the work of divisions’ researchers and give overall advice to their research. During the past years, she has been working with several EU projects which gives her the opportunity to deal with international partners and therefore take advantage of her previous experiences. Additionally, Hajnalka is working with developing the strategy of the Department.
