Aerosol science and technology has developed into an important field for which experts are needed in science, research, and industry.

Starting from scientific research, Thomas Krinke, postdoc at the Dept. of Physics, will show some examples where this expertise is needed in industry and what exciting tasks there are that require this knowledge. He will also give a brief overview of plans to further develop the production of metal-based nanoparticles using spark ablation.
